Is AllergyGuardAI a medical device?
No. AllergyGuardAI is a decision-support tool powered by AI. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always confirm allergen information directly with restaurant staff before ordering.
How accurate is the allergen analysis?
AllergyGuardAI uses AI to analyze ingredient information based on what is provided. Results may not reflect cross-contamination risks, recipe changes, or kitchen practices. Always verify with restaurant staff.
What allergens does AllergyGuardAI detect?
AllergyGuardAI can analyze for any allergen you add to your profile, including the 9 major food allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, and sesame.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings and cancel AllergyGuardAI Premium from there.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings in the app and tap Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Is my health data safe?
Yes. We treat allergy information with the highest level of care. We do not sell your health data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How many family profiles can I add?
Free plan users can add 1 profile. Premium subscribers can add up to 6 family profiles.
Does the barcode scanner work on all products?
The barcode scanner uses the Open Food Facts database which contains millions of products. If a product is not found, you can manually enter the ingredients for analysis.
